With the help of teams of experts, students and private companies, we managed to restore 13 Ha of pasture and enrich 17 Ha of forest with native species.

We thank everyone who took part for their role and in particular Don Eli Cuellar, who nurtured a dream for many years of identifying native trees, collecting their seeds and showing us how to plant them in a nursery

We have planted more than 13,000 native trees of 60 species in this 13-hectare pasture. Today, it is our laboratory. We have learned numerous lessons, such as: knowing which species pair best with other species, how to locate the root when digging the hole, the average planting time for each seedling to determine efficiencies, how to manage periods of drought and excess water, among other lessons.

We have witnessed the growth of the seedlings we have planted and how they have associated with the seedlings that have propogated naturally.  All of this makes us very excited to see the progress in 2025/26.
